Festival of Butterflies
The goal of this project was to create a type centric poster to bring awareness and solicit participation in the event. Festival of Butterflies is an annual event host by Powell Gardens to celebrate the migration of the monarch butterfly. The concept was communicating a feeling of being in the garden with the butterflies. I chose to stylize this poster with elegant shapes and was heavily inspired by victorian book design. The color palette was chosen to create a feeling of being calm, but also to further showcase the vibrant color of the monarch butterfly.
